Love in the Time of Cholera

Based on Nobel Prize-winning author Gabriel García Márquez's novel of the same name, director Mike Newell's Love in the Time of Cholera details a passionate love triangle that unfolds in turn-of-the-century South America. Oscar-winning Pianist scribe Ronald Harwood adapts the story of two young lovers who bide their time for years while anxiously awaiting the day they can finally be together. Through marriages, affairs, careers, and deaths, the couple never loses hope that destiny will unite them in the end.

Antônio Pinto was the composer on Love in the Time of Cholera. Other films he has composed for include 10 Items Or Less, Lord of War and Perfect Stranger. The Love in the Time of Cholera soundtrack features Shakira.

Based on popular Brazilian TV series, City Of Men was created by the same team as City Of God.
The film is set in the favelas of Brazil. It is the story of two teenagers, Acerola (Douglas Silva) and Laranjinha (Darlan Cunha) have become close as brothers. They have grown up in a culture dictated by violence and run by street gangs, With their eighteenth birthdays fast approaching, Laranjinha sets out to find the father he never met, while Acerola struggles to raise his own young son. But when they suddenly find themselves on opposite sides of a gang war, the lifelong friends are forced to confront a shocking secret from their shared past.
